On June 6, Qiao Xubin, General Manager of China Energy International Group Co., Ltd. (Energy China International), met with Dele Kuti, Global Head of Energy and Infrastructure of Standard Bank Group (“SBG”), at the headquarters of Energy China International. The two sides agreed to strengthen communication, deepen bank-enterprise cooperation, and focus on key African regions and priority sectors including gas-fired power plants, photovoltaic and wind power projects. They further pledged to innovate collaboration models, advance investment and financing partnerships, accelerate the implementation of key projects, and develop exemplary China-Africa cooperation projects to jointly promote energy transition and upgrading in South Africa and across Africa.
