On June 10 local time, Adylbek Kasimalyev, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, inspected the Tashkent Solar-Storage Hybrid Project in Uzbekistan, accompanied by Umid Mamadaminov, Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan. The Project was constructed under an EPC contract by China Energy International Group Co., Ltd., China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd., and China Energy Engineering Group Anhui Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. During the field visit, the Prime Minister examined the Central Control Room of the Step-up Substation and the PV Power Generation Area at the 200MW Photovoltaic Plant, and highly commended the Project for its overall construction quality and operational efficiency. Noting the Kyrgyz Republic’s accelerated efforts in energy transition and active exploration of new energy development, he stated that the Kyrgyz Republic looks forward to deepening multilateral cooperation with leading international energy enterprises such as CEEC to jointly advance the transformation and upgrading of its energy structure.
