On May 19 local time, the SS1 (North Section) Substation of the Haden PV Power Project in Saudi Arabia successfully completed back-energization on the first operation. All systems are operating stably with normal equipment parameters, marking a key milestone in the project’s electrical system construction and laying a solid foundation for subsequent full-capacity grid connection and power generation.
As a key renewable energy project in Saudi Arabia, the Haden PV Plant is jointly constructed by China Energy International Group Co., Ltd, China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Power Engineering Co., Ltd, and China Energy Engineering Group Northwest China Electric Power Test Research Institute Co., Ltd, with a total installed capacity of 2GW. It is scheduled to enter commercial operation in early 2027.
