On September 3, Qiao Xubin, General Manager of Energy China International, met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
Vučić stated that the Serbian government attaches great importance to developing energy and power, advances the overall planning of the national grid, and intensifies efforts in multi-faceted energy and power development. He expressed his hope that CEEC would seize development opportunities, deepen exchanges and collaboration with relevant Serbian authorities and key enterprises, and advance practical cooperation in grid planning, new energy, advanced energy storage, and gas-turbine technology, thereby enhancing the stability of Serbia’s national grid and continuously raising the quality of bilateral economic and trade ties between Serbia and China.
Among other attendees were Tomislav Nikolić, former Serbian President and President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, Jagoda Lazarević, Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade of Serbia, Nenad Popović, Minister in Charge of International Economic Cooperation of Serbia, Maja Stefanović, Serbian Ambassador to China, and Li Ming, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia.
