On March 31, China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. officially signed the EPC contract with PT MINAHASA BRANTAS ENERGI for the Poiga 2 Hydropower Station in Jakarta, Indonesia, marking the start of project implementation.
Situated in South Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, the project is one of the key renewable energy projects on Sulawesi Island. It involves the construction of two hydropower turbines, diversion tunnels, ground-level powerhouses, access roads, and power transmission and transformation works. The scope covers the entire process of engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.
