Piling Works Fully Completed for Saudi Faris 2GW PV Project

On October 6 local time, the Saudi Faris 2GW PV Project, jointly delivered by the consortium of Energy China International, China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group, successfully wrapped up all piling construction works, marking the full transition to the mounting and installation phase for solar panel support structures and modules. 

As a key project under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 new energy roadmap, the Saudi Faris 2GW PV Project is projected to generate an average annual output of 5.97 billion kWh upon commissioning. It will effectively optimize the local energy mix and accelerate Saudi Arabia’s clean energy transition.
