The China-South Korea Business Forum was held in Beijing on January 5. It was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). He Lifeng, Vice Premier of the State Council, and Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, attended and addressed the Forum.

Ni Zhen, General Manager of CEEC, attended the Forum upon invitation and delivered a speech at the Bilateral Exchange Meeting for Key Enterprises prior to the opening ceremony. Ni Zhen highlighted CEEC’s position as a global leader in the planning, design, EPC contracting, and investment operation of energy, power, and water infrastructure. He expressed CEEC’s commitment to leveraging its integrated advantages across the entire industry chain, focusing on its core businesses in energy, power, and water sectors as well as related diversified fields. As he noted, CEEC stands ready to forge concrete synergies between China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” and South Korea’s Energy Superhighway Project to foster a series of high-quality, sustainable cooperative outcomes that benefit people’s livelihoods, thereby contributing to the deepening of bilateral relations between China and South Korea.
The Forum brought together over 400 participants, including government officials, corporate executives, experts, and scholars from both countries.
