CEEC Signs Contracts Worth USD 1.828 Billion at 8th CIIE

On November 6, CEEC secured deals totaling USD 1.828 billion at its centralized contracting ceremony held during the Eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE) at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), setting a new high. As one of the largest enterprises globally in the energy, power, water conservancy, and infrastructure sectors, CEEC has consistently organized its affiliates to deepen industrial and supply chain cooperation with international partners by leveraging the CIIE platform over the past eight years. This sustained collaboration has enabled common development and driven the cumulative contracted value at the CIIE to approximately USD 11.959 billion.

At the signing ceremony, CEEC’s affiliates inked multiple equipment procurement agreements with leading global firms, including Japan’s Hitachi Energy, South Korea’s Hyosung Group, and Singapore’s PSA International. Among these deals, CEEC signed procurement agreements with Germany’s Siemens Energy to procure wind turbines and photovoltaic modules designated for the Shaqra 1GW Wind Project, the Al Shuaibah 2GW Wind Project, and the Furais 2 GW Photovoltaic Project in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the Al Shuaibah 2GW Wind Project will become the world’s largest onshore wind power project.
