Double Milestones of West Africa’s Largest Biomass Power Plant Completed at One Day

August 14th, the central control building has been successfully completed concreting of the top and the foundation of turbine #2 has been also completed concreting at Biovea 46MW Biomass Power Plant, Côte d'Ivoire, which is West Africa’s largest biomass power plant under construction and undertakenby China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd.

The central control building is the neural center of the power plant. Meanwhile, high quality concrete C25/30 is adopted for the concreting, and the total earthwork volumeof the concreting is as much as 267 m3, for which 10 hours of continuousefforts have been made by the Project Dept. and finally, the completion of the milestone is the best reward for whole team’s efforts.

Simultaneously, there is also another good news about the concreting of the foundation of turbine #2. The foundation is 19m in length, 7.3m in width and 1.5m in height. The concretinghas consumed 185 m3 of concrete, the sucessful of which laysa good foundationfor the following construction of the main block.
